Since its impressive rise, Fortnite has gone to become a massive video game with tons of additional content for players to enjoy. As such, creators are frequently offered the chance to share their ideas with the community, and these end up being incorporated into the video game. Thanks to this, Fortnite has become not only a Battle Royale video game but a space for concerts, movies, TV, and much more. This time, it also became a virtual museum and it currently shows Luc Bernard’s creation.

Luc Bernard, who is the director of The Light in the Darkness video game, announced via X, formerly Twitter, that Epic Games (Fortnite’s company) approved his project regarding a Holocaust museum in the video game. The man has been the first one to address this topic in the gaming industry, which is a milestone in itself. According to him, Unreal Editor was utilized to construct the museum about the biggest genocide in history. His idea is to reach an audience that does not frequently visit museums and to use Fortnite as a platform to teach history to players.

He stated that his creation will not allow the use of emotes, combat of destruction animations, in case players want to disrupt or make fun of the museum. In addition, The Holocaust Museum in Fortnite includes rooms that show images describing what happened, along with descriptions of the criminal acts comitted against the Jewish people during this time of history.
