A Denver woman in Lakewood, Colorado, outbursted against a Latino family with racial insults. She called them “trash” for having a pool party around the holiday of the fourth of July. The video was initially posted on a family member’s s TikTok on Tuesday, July 4 and it showed the blonde woman, wearing a leopard print bikini, and sunglasses becoming infuriated with the activities the Mexican family was doing at the pool.
The video starts with the woman yelling in discomfort saying“You have a f*king Mexican party in a pool. Trash.” Rapidly, one of the family members started recording the rant, but the blonde lady suddenly noticed she was being filmed and said “You can’t do that. You can’t just record me,” as she approached the camera and attempted to grab the cell phone out of the other person’s hand. After that, the video shows moments in which the Denver woman is sitting on a chair in the pool space and continues to scream and insult the family. She shouted “You’re nasty! You smell.”
Later on, the video cuts to a different moment in which she is being restrained by, presumably, one of the people who was there with her. Later on, she told the family to “get the f*k out,” as one of the people holding the camera said “go back down to Denver,” and she replied that she was from that area, unlike them who were “low-class slime,” in her words. In the end, the police arrived to the pool and talked both with the man and the woman
The circumstances or reasons why the verbal argument took place are still unknown, but after the video went viral, some Internet users stated that the family was probably playing loud music while having their BBQ, which was against the rules in common spaces. In contrast, some other users say that nothing justifies utilizing racist and xenophobic vocabulary toward other people.
