After months of speculations, the Apple company has finally announced the launch of its new virtual reality system: Vision Pro. Last Monday, Apple made a world conference in which Tim Cook presented new hardware and software developments, including the mixed reality or augmented virtual reality device.

What is Apple Vision Pro?

In this sense, Apple is now betting on its new product, an AR (augmented reality) device. The system does not have a controller, and it can utilize a number of application icons by just looking at them. Users can even use voice commands to control the Vision Pro, and its battery is set to last for about two hours. About the device, Apple CEO, Tim Cook, stated that:

Apple’s advantage over rivals is that the operating system on the new headset will be immediately familiar to existing users, and much of their favorite content, services and apps are all instantly available.

The American company revealed that once the user puts the Apple Vision Pro on their eyes, they will be easily able to see the applications being directly projected, the interface is designed to look like it is really present. Moreover, users who have any eye condition or wear glasses, will not have to worry, as the device is set to have especial accessories to make the use of the product comfortable.

It was also confirmed that the product will be available in early 2024, and its potential initial price will be 3499 dollars, according to WWDC 2023.
