Israel-Iran Conflict Escalates with New Strikes and International Warnings

Israel and Iran intensified their cross-border attacks on Tuesday for the fifth consecutive day, deepening an open conflict that continues to escalate across the Middle East. Overnight, explosions rocked Tel Aviv and Jerusalem following missile launches from Iranian territory. Air raid sirens sounded across several regions of Israel, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that its air defense systems had intercepted multiple incoming projectiles.

In retaliation, the Israeli military launched a large-scale aerial offensive targeting strategic sites in western Iran. According to official statements, the strikes destroyed surface-to-surface missile depots, anti-aircraft launchers, and drone storage facilities. The Israeli government framed the operation as a move to weaken Tehran’s strategic military capabilities, particularly those linked to its alleged nuclear weapons development—claims Iran vehemently denies.

Iranian authorities rejected accusations of pursuing a military nuclear program and accused Israel of initiating an unjustified act of aggression. Amid the rising tension, U.S. President Donald Trump issued an unexpected warning from the G7 summit in Canada: “Everyone should evacuate Tehran immediately!” he posted on his Truth Social platform. Shortly afterward, he left the summit early and returned to Washington, clarifying that his departure was “not about a ceasefire” but “something much bigger.”

Meanwhile, G7 leaders called for a diplomatic solution to the crisis. In a joint statement, they urged a “resolution of the Iranian crisis that leads to broader de-escalation in the Middle East.” The foreign ministers of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom also appealed to Iran to return to the nuclear negotiating table “as soon as possible and without preconditions.”

The growing security concerns have prompted emergency measures inside Israel. The Ministry of Tourism has launched a digital registration system to assist the approximately 38,000 foreign tourists currently in the country. The goal is to organize coordinated evacuation flights should the situation worsen. An online form is being distributed through tour operators, hotels, and guides, requesting basic information such as full name, passport number, phone number, and email address. According to the ministry, this data will only be shared—if necessary—with the National Security Council and the Ministry of Transport, which would coordinate potential special flights.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force continued its bombing campaign with a new wave of strikes on missile installations in western Iran. Security sources said the attacks hit numerous strategic sites, including dozens of launchers and platforms operated by Iranian forces. The operations, coordinated with the Military Intelligence Division, focused on destroying surface-to-air missile systems and radar infrastructure in western Iran—areas that Israel claims could pose a direct threat to its territory.

In response to the strikes and fearing further cyberattacks, the Iranian regime imposed strict new restrictions on the use of internet-connected devices on Tuesday. The Cybersecurity Command banned high-ranking officials and security personnel from using smartphones, smartwatches, laptops, and other connected equipment, citing surveillance and targeting risks.

“The ban applies to all devices connected to communication networks,” the agency warned, according to state-run Tasnim News. Authorities also urged citizens to limit their use of smart technologies and take precautions against potential digital threats.
