Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that RM, the leader of the globally acclaimed K-pop group BTS, has been named the official ambassador for Samsung Art TV, marking a new effort by the tech giant to blend innovation and culture through a prominent global figure.

As part of the collaboration, the South Korean company will launch an exclusive series titled RM’s Art Commentary on the Samsung Art Store platform. In this segment, the artist will share his personal insights on a curated selection of artworks, aiming to offer users a more intimate and enriching artistic experience.

“This collaboration with Samsung Art TV is very meaningful to me. I find deep inspiration and comfort in art, and I hope this project allows more people to connect with it in their daily lives,” RM stated in the official press release.

The singer’s participation goes beyond the digital platform. RM is also set to speak at a special talk session this Wednesday in Basel, Switzerland, ahead of Art Basel—one of the world’s most prestigious contemporary art fairs—taking place from Thursday through Sunday.

Originally launched for Samsung’s The Frame TV, the Samsung Art Store is a subscription-based service that transforms home spaces into digital galleries. It offers over 3,500 artworks in 4K resolution from renowned museums and artists around the world. This year, the platform has been expanded to include Samsung’s Neo QLED and QLED models, further enhancing the visual experience.

With this collaboration, Samsung reinforces its commitment to integrating art into everyday life through cutting-edge technology, supported by a figure whose genuine dedication to culture and creativity resonates with global audiences.
