Recently, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un celebrated the 75th anniversary of North Korea with a “paramilitary” parade. In the ceremony, he was seen with his daughter (whose name remains uncertain), the North Korean forces along with Chinese and Russian guests who took part in the event.

In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un, where he highlighted the strong military and diplomatic relations both countries had and said he expects great collaboration between both nations to have the upper hand during the war in Ukraine.

During the 75th anniversary of North Korea, it had been stated that the North Korean leader would visit Putin in Russia to meet and discuss different situations, with the war being the central theme of the encounter.

As a result, both Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin met this Wednesday in a Russian space center. According to United States authorities, the Russian president could be taking advantage of the meeting to obtain armament to be utilized in Ukraine’s invasion. Similarly, Putin allegedly said he could help North Korea’s space program.

This meeting comes at a time when the war and the invasion have left Russia and Putin internationally isolated, with most countries being against the European nation and its military desire to take over its neighbor Ukraine. Due to this, Russia might be in need of ammunition and projectiles after being in war for about a year and a half.

It has been stated that North Korea said it will always support and back up Russia.
