Southwest Airlines plans to launch a new flight route and other seasonal services in January 2024. These new services will be 1X-weekly flights in a number of cities, including Omaha’s Eppley Airfield (OMA) in Nebraska and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida (FLL).

Additionally, as of January 8, 2024, the airline is set to resume daily seasonal services from Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) to Fort Myers (Florida) and Palm Springs, which is located in the West of California, and these are set to operate five times a week. Similarly, 5X-weekly travels between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Orlando International Airport will also be included.

After that, on January 13 and 14, 2024 Southwest Airlines will continue with its scheduled routes once a week. However, the For Lauderdale-Hollywood flight to Albany, New York will resume twice a week. On a similar note, other Southwest Airlines seasonal routes from FLL to Phoenix, Louisville, and Kentucky will also be included. Finally, other Minneapolis routes include flights to  Cincinnati, Ohio, and Detroit.

Apart from increasing the number of seasonal flights and offering new destinations, the airline also announced that these trips will be nonstop, so passengers will not have to worry about spending too much time on a different destination while waiting to board the plane to the next city.

As of now, these new offers and destinations will be extended to March 2024, according to Southwest Airlines. Because of this, customers are now able to book their early year and winter destinations ahead of time.
