Former boxer Floyd Mayweather returned to the ring this Saturday, May 21st, to face Don Moore in an exhibition fight in Abu Dhab, in the United Arab Emirates. The event was supposed to take place at the beginning of the month, but the death of President Sheikh Khalifa changed the plans.
The exhibition consisted of an eight round fight of two minutes each. The fight was not ruled a winner, however the 45-year-old former welterweight world champion put on a real show in the ring.

Mayweather was happy, that from the third round he began to make jokes with the public and even with the corner of his rival. Also, before the seventh round, he took the sign with the number that the ring-girl was wearing, held it up and even danced.

“I want to thank everyone, this place is incredible. The UAE is one of the best places in the world“, he declared after the end of the eighth round.
“I’m here to entertain and have fun“, he explained.
“I will bring a new fight here this year. We have an opponent, it’s secret so I can’t say, we only need the venue and I choose the United Arab Emirates“.
